Wealth means so many things to so many people. Some considered themselves wealthy because they live in a very expensive house and travel around the World or they ride expensive cars.. Others believe wealth is being able to pay bills on time. However, considering the thoughts of Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko-authors of The Millionaire Next Door''If you make a good income each year and spend it all, you are not getting wealthier. You are just living high''.
Wealth has come to mean an abundance of items of economic value, or the state of controlling or possessing such items, and encompasses money, real estate and personal property. In many countries, wealth is also measured by reference to access to essential service such as health care, or the possession of crops and livestock.
Generally speaking.wealth may also mean being full of wisdom, and knowledge. In this regard, men like Solomon, Piccaso, and Thomas Alvs Edison could be said to be wealthy.
Wealth is defined by Ayn Rand as the product of man's capacity to think.
